On the Hunt.....

 

Linda and I went for a walk and saw this big Blue Heron wondering around the pond.I took a photo to paint the bird and I think it turned out ok. Acrylic on canvas...16x20.

Mukeltio Ferry

We had dinner at Ivar's and sat on the deck and watched the ferry come and go.  It was a beautiful evening.

I haven't seen my sister Ann in years. This might be a picture of her...she didn't use to smoke but maybe she does now. I think she use to have a pair of pants and a shirt like these.

Payton Alene

Payton is now 7months old and 11 pounts.

Katie and Mike paint the town..............

Katie and Mike attended an evening of wine and painting. Lots of fun and we literallyh painted the town....as in an abstract of Seattle.

Amazing Aquarium

Whale sharks swim with other fish inside a tank, which the aquarium says is the world's largest, at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Motobu town on Japan's southern island of Okinawa. The tank is 10 metres deep, 35 metres wide and 27 metres long.

Maicey and Katie enjoy Pho and Bubble Tea. Payton slept through the entire meal.

Maicey and Payton seem to be enjoying their St Patricks day activities.

 

Payton now going on 6 months and doing well. Over 8 pounds and so alert and happy.

Wow saw this idea and thought "Hey, I can do that" I think you can too. It doesn't seem too hard.

Peeps Easter Centerpiece

Here’s what you’ll need:
Two similarly shaped vases, one 3″ narrower than the other
Peeps
Jelly beans
Flowers

Here are the easy steps to pulling it together:
1.Insert the smaller vase inside the large.
2.Layer jelly beans in the space between the two.
3.Arrange Peeps on top of the jelly beans.
4.Arrange your flowers

Saint Patrick's Day....Seattle

Seattle's Saint Patrick's Day Parade
Storm, an Irish water spaniel, is appropriately decked out for Saturday's St. Paddy's Day parade in downtown Seattle.

We had a fun St. Patick's Day and then homecooked dinner of corned beef/cabbage and Irish Soda Bread. Everyone at the table read an Irish Blessing.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

The girls had a great time playing with glow sticks and bathing. Getting ready for bed is lots more fun with glow sticks.
